TARABUMBA to ekologiczne, lalkowe widowisko cyrkowe, w którym w rolach zwierząt
występują lalki i duże „nadmarionety” (marionetki zwierząt w ich naturalnych
wielkościach), a w rolach artystów cyrkowych aktorzy w planie żywym. Spektakl
nawiązuje do pięknej tradycji cyrkowej, wprowadzając jednak nową jakość: obok
ciekawych technik sztuki lalkarskiej, zwraca uwagę na poszanowanie dla istot
żywych, piękno teatru lalek zamiast cierpienia zwierząt.
TARABUMBA CIRCUS is an eco-friendly
puppet-circus performance, where animals are played by puppets and
“superpuppets” (puppets of animals in their natural sizes), and the circus
performers are played by real actors. The performance refers to beautiful
circus tradition, and yet introduces a new quality: apart from interesting
techniques of puppetry art it focuses on the respect for living beings. So,
what we receive in the performance is the beauty of puppet theatre in place of
the image of animals suffering for our enjoyment.
