The fourth edition of International Festival of Puppet Theatres for Adults PUPPETS' METAMORPHOSES will take place between 18th June and 19th September 2021 in Bialystok (Poland).
Our goal is to create a Festival that breaks stereotypes concerning perception of puppet theatre as a theatre only for the young audience.
During the Festival, we would like to present the most worthy phenomena, original means of artistic expression as well as trends in a contemporary puppet theatre for adults.
A wide spectrum of puppet theatre projects will be presented by renowned professional artists of the young generation from Poland and abroad (e.g. from Germany, Israel, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Spain).
PUPPETS' METAMORPHOSES is a sole Theatre Festival of an international range in Białystok – a theatrical capital of Northeast Poland - presenting professional artists.
The Festival is financed by City Office of Bialystok and the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport.
