Ludzie
różnych wyznań żyją u podnóża góry zgodnie ze swoimi zwyczajami i tradycjami i
nie mogą się w żaden sposób zgodzić, czyja religia jest ważniejsza, czyj Bóg
potężniejszy. Nagle na szczycie góry pojawia się światło, a wieść głosi, że
jeśli ktokolwiek dotknie go ręką, ludzie będą żyć szczęśliwie do końca
wieków. Przedstawiciele
poszczególnych narodów rzucają się by zdobyć szczyt góry, zapominając o swoich
domach, dzieciach i rodzicach. Tracą wszystko zwabieni obietnicą szczęścia. Silne pragnienie
dotknięcia Światła Szczęścia sprawia, że sąsiedzi zapominają o odwiecznym
gniewie i wspólnie osiągają cel. Ale twórcy spektaklu przygotowują widzom niespodziankę
i nie obiecują łatwego do przewidzenia zakończenia historii.
Twórcy chcą
podkreślić wagę tolerancji i szacunku dla różnych światopoglądów, stylów życia,
innych kultur czy narodów, a jednocześnie przypominają, by nie zapominać o
rodzimych korzeniach i indywidualnej tożsamości.
Spektakl powstał
przy użyciu zasad kinematografii. W inscenizacji nie ma dialogu i narracji.
Słowo zostaje zastąpione językiem audiowizualnym, a ścieżka dźwiękowa do
spektaklu tworzona jest jak do filmu.
Twórcy przedstawienia zostali nagrodzeni najwyższą
litewską nagrodą teatralną „Złoty Krzyż Sceny” za najlepszy spektakl teatru
lalkowego i teatru przedmiotu w 2019 roku.
The nations of
different faiths live at the foot of the mountain according to their customs
and traditions and cannot agree in any way whose religion is more important,
whose God is more powerful. Suddenly the light appears at the top of the
mountain and the rumour spreads out that if anybody touches it, people will
become happy until the end of ages. The representatives
of the nations begin to climb up the mountain forgeting about their homes,
children and parents, losing everything due to the promise of happiness. The desire to
touch the Light of Happiness make the neighbours forget about their eternal anger
and achieve the common goal together. But the creators of the performance
prepare a surprise for the audience and do not promise an easy and predictable
end of the story.
The goal of the creative
group is to highlight the importance of tolerance and respect for
different worldviews, lifestyles, other
cultures and nations but at the same time they emphasize that one should not
forget one‘s native roots and individual identity.
The performance is
created with use of cinematographic principles. There is no usual dialogue and
narrative in the staging. The word is replaced by audio-visual language, the soundtrack
is created as if it was created for the film.
The creative group of the performance was awarded with
the highest Lithuanian theatre award “The Golden Stage Cross“
for the best puppet and object theatre performance in 2019.
