Spektakl powstał we współpracy Mesebolt Bábszínház i Kőszeg Castle Theatre.
„Biblia Chłopska”, fragment świętej książki współczesności,
w duchu której napisana została sztuka „Józef i jego bracia” to fascynująca,
pełna humoru lektura, ujmująca opisem naiwnej wiary w zbawienie.
... ale czym naprawdę jest owa naiwna wiara w zbawienie?
Niczym innym i niczym
mniej niż stwierdzeniem człowieka stojącego w opozycji do świata, nie zdającego
sobie sprawy z własnego pochodzenia (a może zaprzeczającego mu lub go
ukrywającego), iż świat jest jednolity i w związku z tym powininen być ponownie
zintegrowany. Religa określa ową ponowną integrację jako naturalne lub
nadprzyrodzone zjawisko - nazywając
zbawieniem. „Biblia chłopska” nieświadomie mówi o wierze w zbawienie, a
naszym celem jest by przedstawienie zatytułowane „Józef i jego bracia” promieniowało tą samą naiwną wiarą,
przekazując ją widzom.
Spektakl powstał we współpracy Mesebolt Bábszínház i Kőszeg Castle Theatre.

The "Peasant Bible", this holy book fragment of modern age, in
a spirit of which the short story and play entitled "Joseph and His
Brothers" was written, is a fascinating reading filled with humour
and captivating the reader with the
image of naive and unexpressed faith in salvation.
… but what does this "naive and
unexpressed faith in salvation" mean?
So, not else and not less than that
human opposing the world and not recognising (or even denying and hiding) his
cosmic origin, declares that the world is unified and it has to be
re-integrated. The religion calls this re-emerging entity a natural and
supernatural salvation. The "Peasant Bible" tells unconsciously about
this faith in salvation and our aim is present performance, which beams with
the same naive faith towards our spectators.
