Świat już
nigdy nie będzie taki sam. Stare granice zatoną we krwi lub znikną
całkowicie. Będziemy budowali nowe mury i grzebali ideały. W nowych
wojnach będziemy wciąż zabijać się w imię religii lub ideologii.
Kapitalizm, prawie bez przeciwnika, ogarnie cały świat jak Internet
i telewizja. Rządy staną się komórkami wielkich korporacji. Na skutek
migracji stara Europa straci hegemonię. Obywatele będą poszukiwać tożsamości
w koszykach z zakupami. XXI wiek nadszedł i zmienił nas
na zawsze. A my żyjemy jakbyśmy nie zdawali sobie z tego sprawy.
Jakoś wszystko nadal toczy się tak samo.
"2062"
jest wynikiem dziewięciu miesięcy badań w zakresie opowiadania historii
(storytellingu), teatru cieni, wideo na żywo, dźwięku i animacji. Wszystko co słychać
i widać w spektaklu jest stworzone przez artystów – Karlę & Andrésa – od
podstaw: począwszy od elementów dźwięku, animacji, poezji, po ilustracje czy
narrację.

The world
will never be the same again... Boarders will turn red again or disappear
completely. They will become less accessible. New walls will be build and old
ideals will be buried. Wars will be different, but continue killing at
ideologic gunpoint. Capitalism, with hardly any opponent, will extend covering
the terrestrial world with its coat. Governments will cease their power cells
to big corporations. New migrations and an agonised Europe resisting to lose
its hegemony. Citizens searching their identities in shopping carts. The 21st
century arrived and changed us forever. But we hardly realised it. Somehow
everything continues the same...
"2062" is a result of nine
months research in forms of storytelling, shadow play, live video, sound, and
animation. Everything heard and seen in this performance is created from
scratch by both artists – Karla & Andrés – from the elements of sound,
animation, poetry, illustrations, and the narrative.
